Parrt'e Ebelle has officially become my favorite fish/protein restaurant! They provide affordable, fresh and delicious fish in the city!
The fish that they serve is called Mamsa (Locally). Doing a little research, it's called Trevally in English.
They also serve this fish in 3 ways. (as far as I know)
You can order Mamsa either grilled, in broth or in larang.
Of course, what we usually order is the cheapest one but you will be surprised on how big it is! For only 200 Pesos each, you get this:
For 200 Pesos a piece, you get fresh, delicious and freshly grilled fish! A single fish is good for 2 to 3 people. That's how big it is!
You can also order rice or corn grits to compliment the fish. Order the soup as well on the sides. Soup is free!
The place is like a carinderia but bigger. They also have an air-conditioned room which you can use for an extra charge if you want to stay off the heat.
That's right. Fresh fish hot off the grill!
So if you are in a tight budget, looking for protein and want to eat something fresh, this is something for you!
