All of these could be experienced from the BEST retreat that I have ever, EVER attended in my life and that is the ilovelife retreat! A retreat hosted by the Light of Jesus Family who also brought you the Feast and this is the same community founded by Bro. Bo Sanchez.
At first, I was a bit hesitant to join because the price was kind of way above my budget but in the end, it was all worth it. The place, the food, the experience and super good speakers namely Bro. Jay Yogawin, Bro. Didoy and Bro, Migs Ramirez! The host were also amazing! Every single cent was worth it!
So upon joining, I thought that this would just be one of those retreats where you huddle as a group, do some little reflecting, give your sharing and maybe cry a little. Fortunately I was REALLY WRONG! The retreat was really more than that!
I would not dive into the details so let me sum up what I got from the retreat:
1. Repentance
Sin is always there but with repentance, change will begin in you!
2. Stronger Faith In God
Personally God spoke to me and told me that He listens to my every prayer, to my every pain, to my every cry and concern. He is always there!
3. Felt God's love
Need I say more? If you wanna feel God's great love in raw form, attend! :)
4. New Friends!
God sends you awesome people to bless your life and maybe the love of your life?
5. A better person
There are tons of talks and activities that would improve you as a person, after the retreat, I assure you that you would not feel the same!
The list does not stop there but I have to, otherwise I'll bore you to sleep!
The big take home from this retreat was really filling up your love tank and making you a better person!
