Dice Kong Board Game Cafe - TONS OF FUN!
Today, we talk about BOARD GAMES with DICE KONG!
Ever since I was a child, I was introduced to a lot of board games from Monopoly, Sorry, A Millionaire's Game, Casino and a lot more!
Growing up, I did not have the chance to play these anymore. I was more busy with studies then work. Fortunately, a good friend of mine reintroduced me to board gaming.
I thought board games were only limited to the likes of Monopoly and such but no. Today, board games are now much more sophisticated. Board games today deals with deception, co-op, strategies and some zombies. Sure, the basics are still there like luck and building stuff but with added fun.
Now buying board games these days, specially the awesome one like Dead of Winter could be really costly, about 3000 Pesos plus. Of course, if you are into the board games, one game is not enough.
So what better way than just to go to a board game cafe and enjoy all these for a minimum fee? That is where Dice Kong comes in.
LET'S GO INSIDE...
All I can say is that the place is really conducive for playing board games. The tables itself is really meant for board games!
My Experience...
As soon as me and my friends got to the door, we were greeted warmly. You'll instantly feel that the staff are really approachable (which is a fact) and I really did not have any hesitation approaching them for anything.
The owner, Ian, is also there to help out. Now that really tells me something about Dice Kong, that it's more than a business and wants us to really have fun. In fact, Ian taught us how to play Dead of Winter. Really cool of you! Thanks, Ian!
The staff are awesome! They offer help if you want to learn about a new board game and this is done proactively.
To me, this is one of the best things in Dice Kong. Superb customer service.
Here's a glimpse of what we played:
There are a lot of games that I don't have pictures of like Exploding Kittens, Flash Point, Pandemic and much more. The first game we played was Betrayal at the House on the Hill (First 2 pictures). Below those is Dead of Winter. Lots of Zombie fun!
Excited to play? Just bring 100 Pesos with you as there is a playing fee of 100 Pesos but this 100 Pesos is a play-all-you-can fee. With 100 Pesos, you get to play all of the games they have in the shelf!
Bonus!
You should try the food. It's really great! My favorite is the chicken meals, lovely chicken breast strips, fried with goodness! My favorite is the Sriracha chicken. Go ahead and get it while you're their.
