Food Heaven in Pink Heaven
It's the start of the New Year and what better than to check out this awesome restaurant that will satisfy your taste buds! Pink Heaven offers you a fusion of Cebuano and Bulakenyo flavors.
Pink Heaven?
I wondered why this restaurant was called Pink Heaven. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to know this from the owners and the idea is awesome.
Pink is a light and uplifting color that symbolizes joy while heaven, we know this as somewhere really nice, an experience that we cannot forget and that is Pink Heaven. Giving you joy through their food and quality service.
Pink Heaven is also named in honor of the Mary Queen of Heaven Missionaries, or the Pink Sisters.
A part of their earning is dedicated in support of their good work.
The Place
Okay, first of, I would really like to commend their food attendants. They are really friendly and ready to be of service. Something that is so pleasing in any restaurants and usually is a sign of awesome food! (Which is right.)
Entering the venue, we were greeted with smiling faces. It was so pleasing and they are very attentive to the customer. If you needed something, they are quick to respond. This small detail really left a big impact on me.
Overall, the service is really good and you will not be disappointed.
Food
The food here is delicious and affordable! You could really feel the love for food in their preparation and flavor. The theme of the food is truly Filipino. A fusion of Cebuano and Bulakenyo flavors.
First up, we were served with a complimentary malunggay bread with butter. It was baked fresh, warm, soft and a bit sweet. Add butter and you're good!
Malunggay Shake. I was really expecting this to be a tea-like taste but I was wrong. This was not too sweet nor too stale. Surprisingly good. On top are mango bits.
We had some nachos for our appetizer. Had a gracious amount of toppings and a good amount of cheese. It was really delightful.
One of my favorites here, the Lasagna! Loaded with cheese on top, this is really delicious. If you're a cheese lover, you gotta have this!
The Chicken Teriyaki! If you need protein in your diet, get this! It was really tender, warm and the goodness of Teriyaki all around! Underneath are lettuces and combined with the Chicken Teriyaki, they make a good pair. Another favorite of mine!
Beef Caldereta! The traditional Filipino dish became better! The beef cuts were really tender which will make you go back for more! Highly recommended.
Oh yeah! When you're here, you have to order their ribs! First bite and I noticed how tender the meat was. It was so juicy and really delicious. Perfect balance in taste! You can order this with rice or mashed potatoes.
As for our dessert, we had their specialty, the Sansrival! What I really like about this is that it is not too sweet. It has the right touch of sweetness just where I want it to be. If you like Sansrival which is not to sweet, try this! You will not be disappointed.
